Spring is finally in the air and as the production season starts to gear up,  we hope this luncheon will put you in the right frame of mind! This month’s Lunch Club is on 17th April 2014  and we welcome our very special guest Simon Wright, Career guru and former BBC Talent Manger.

With over ten years experience working in TV, Simon has recently left the beeb as their talent manager, working in both bbc documentaries and their online division. Simon set up ‘Vision’ the BBC intake pool which won the Creative Diversity network award for “best diversity initiative ” for substantially changing the diversity of the bbc staff base.  He ran the BBC Production Trainee scheme and the BBC Production Talent Pool and  believes that talent comes in all forms and difference is good. – He’ll be right at home with us then!

Trained as a career counsellor, Simon will be on hand to offer help with CV writing, networking, creating a brand on social media, action planning, tips for dealing with difficult people,  how to deal with rejection and to help increase your resilience.  A must if you want to survive as a freelancer!

On top of that we will be offering everyone who attends a free one-to-one career session after the luncheon. This months we hope to inspire to you over the holiday season and give you some food for thought in order to get you ready for the up and coming production season.
