We have identified two vacancies for Camera Assistants to work on one of ITV’s most prestigious continuing dramas – Emmerdale!
Emmerdale is recorded both in a studio, working with pedestal cameras within a multi-camera environment and also single camera, out on location. You would need to hold a driving licence as driving the camera van forms part of this Camera Assistant role.
You will need to have gained some experience working as a Camera Assistant, preferably on a drama production and have covered all associated duties such as: rigging and derigging camera equipment; cable-clearing; charging camera batteries and setting up monitors out on location and assisting with focusing and tracking. Knowledge of using P2 cards would be an advantage.
Drama production days are long and schedule amendments/working pattern changes can be made with short notice, so flexibility is essential with regards to working hours. This is a manual handling role and requires physical stamina, working on location at various times including night-shoots and during inclement weather conditions can be challenging.
If you have these skills and are looking for an opportunity to work on one of ITV’s most prestigious continuing dramas, then please click apply and submit your application for the Camera Assistants role.
