We very proudly present to you The #TVCLeaderList. #TVCLeaderList marks the contribution of BAME people to British Television. Sixty leading television execs feature in this series of portrait photographs, with a historical line-up of interviews.
Whilst the collection of formal pictures provides a powerful narrative, an ingenious approach to the talent capturing their own professional selfies was deployed. The results are reflected in a compellingly arresting composition image, which will also be on display.
The LeadersList aims to project the wealth of experienced ‘diverse’ talent and their contributions to the quality of Britain’s creative and TV Industry. The list includes Sir Lenny Henry, David Olusoga, Marcus Ryder previous Head of Current Affairs Scotland and now the Chief International Editor of CGTN Digital in China (China’s state broadcaster: China Global Television Network), Eloise King Executive Commissioning Producer at VICE and Pat Younge the previous Chief Creative Officer at the BBC who is now CEO at Sugar Film.
The key to improving diversity is not to talk about it but get on and be about it.
The #TVCLeadersList reminds us, not only do the talent exists but we are already the change we want to see.
We have a number a selected number of tickets to attend the book launch and private viewing on the 7th December. If you would like to join us please email me by Monday 4th December before 12 pm. #TheTVCLeadersList exhibition will be open to the public next year.
