This is a work placement opportunity to acquire a unique insight into the creative media industry, whilst gaining invaluable skills in editorial, marketing and content production. The main focus of your work will be to support the industry wide drive for greater diversity and inclusion particularly  among the *BAME communities.

We are looking for:

Social Media Assistant – To help create and manage successful social media campaigns particularly targeted at the *BAME creatives working in TV and film.

Content Producer – To help produce, record and edit a series of interviews and video packages that support our members career needs.

Website and members assistant – To assistant with the running of the TVC website and be point of contact for our community.

You will be required to work 15 hours a week, manage your own time and work from home and/ or our base in West London.

This role would suit someone over 18,  new entrants, those getting ready to return to work after a career break, or those seeking a change of direction in their  career.  You must have  a good understanding of the TV and film industry and the challenges faced by BAME professionals.

The aim of this placement is to provide a stepping-stone moving you closer towards achieving your career ambitions. Throughout the duration of this work placement I will be your personal mentor to ensure these are achieved.

You will also receive:

  • Monthly 1-2-1 career advice session
  • Opportunity to attend numerous networking,       masterclasses, screening and industry events.
  • Extend you contact book by working and meeting    number of key figures in TV and Film.

Although this is not a paid opportunity, reasonable expense will be covered.
