The Tin Roof Media Group (Blink Films & Outline Productions) is looking for a hard-working, friendly and organised Office Runner to assist in their busy office in Haggerston, North London.  This position is entry-level for someone who is looking to pursue a career in TV Production Management.  Key responsibilities include:-

  • Welcoming visitors to the office
  •  Answering telephones, taking messages and transferring calls
  •  Assisting the Office Manager with the day to day running of the office
  • Booking meeting rooms and providing refreshments
  • Troubleshooting IT problems quickly and efficiently with the help of the Technical Assistant
  • Managing Equipment and Storage logs
  • Maintaining the upkeep of the online phone & printer portals.
  • Sourcing and maintaining office & kitchen supplies.
  • Booking cars and couriers
  • Distributing and sending post
  • Administration duties to support production teams and directors.
  • Providing ad-hoc support for other departments including Development and Production when necessary
  • Assisting on shoots as and where needed
  • Ad Hoc Production Secretary duties
  • Locking and unlocking the office as and when required

A positive “get stuck in” attitude is a primary attribute we’re looking for.  A driving licence is also a big advantage but not essential.  Key skills required are:-

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Outlook, Word, Excel & Mac proficient to be able to troubleshoot
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Experience of handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Self-motivated – able to work independently without supervision

Monday to Friday office-based, 10.30am to 7pm but you must be flexible to cover the full office opening hours (9am to 7pm) in the Office Manager’s absence, and bank holidays if required.
