BBC Arts commissioner Emma Cahusac quits

Emma Cahusac, the BBC’s commissioning editor for the arts, has left the company after eight years.

Cahusac resigned from the company to explore possibilities in freelance work

For returnable arts formats on BBC1 and BBC2, she served as the initial point of contact for the BBC. Her most recent assignments include Windrush: Portraits of a Generation by BBC Studios, Between the Covers by Cactus TV, African Renaissance by ClearStory, and Frida by Rogan Productions (all for BBC2), as well as Extraordinary Portraits, a return of Chatterbox, for BBC1.
