BTLs Sharon King, Dave Donald and David Davis have been selected to represent the UK at The Cross Continental Forum.

The CCF will take place in Barbados from April 15 – 19  

A five-day event in the Caribbean has been set up in a bid to bring together industry leaders from a number of countries to foster co-pros.  

The Cross Continental International Co-production Forum (CCF) is billed as a dynamic co-pro and development forum, bringing together industry leaders, producers and innovators to exchange ideas and opportunities that will result in new co-productions. 

The inaugural event in Barbados takes place next month with the CCF having been established by CaribbeanTales Media Group, Imagine Media International and The Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination at the University of The West Indies. 

Emmy-winning director Ava DuVernay, acclaimed actress CCH Pounder, US producer Paul Garnes and The TV Collective’s Simone Pennant are among those taking part at the event. They will be joined by international media executives and 26 high-level producers from Canada, the UK, South Africa and several Caribbean countries.  

The UK’s six delegates are: Carol Harding (Vicarious Productions), David Davis (5 Acts Productions), Dave Donald (Gallus Media), Nadine Marsh-Edwards (Green Acre Films), Sharon King (Awesome Productions) and Yvonne Ibazebo (Turnover Films). Davis, Donald and King are former participants in TVC’s Breakthrough Leaders initiative.
