Gaby Aung joins Sean Doyle-led unit in newly-created UK and EMEA role.
Disney unscripted chief Sean Doyle has bolstered his UK and EMEA unscripted teams with the hire of Memories of a Murderer: The Nilsen Tapes (pictured top) producer Gaby Aung to a newly-created role.
As senior manager working closely alongside Doyle, Aung will be tasked with identifying series and singles projects in EMEA, as well as building out its slate of female-skewed programming which includes Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story and upcoming In Vogue.
She will also help the other local EMEA teams shape their commissioning slates as Disney+ looks to grow its roster of unscripted programming in the region.
London-based Aung was most recently a series producer at Lightbox, working on its forthcoming four-part Disney+ doc Camden, produced in association with Day One Pictures.
