Talent Acquisition Marketing Specialist – BBC

The Talent Enablement team play a crucial role in ensuring the Global Talent team provides incredible experiences for all of those that interact with the Talent lifecycle. We are responsible for all Systems, Processes, and TA Marketing that support our Talent Acquisition, Production Talent, Talent Management & Succession, and D&I teams across BBC Studios globally. As a newly created team we’re either inheriting a lot of systems, processes, and ways of working, or building those things from scratch.  


As the first Talent Acquisition Marketing Specialist to join the BBC Studios team you will be responsible for taking a well created Pan-BBC Employer Brand & EVP and bringing it to life within our Global organisation. This means taking the “Your BBC” core brand and turning it into a valuable asset that positions BBC Studios as an employer of choice globally. This is a Part-Time role working 4 days per week.

Working within the BBC Studios Enablement team and in close partnership with the Public Service Employer Brand team you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive Talent Acquisition Marketing strategies that resonate with current and potential employees. This will include; 

  • The creation of compelling Content and Copy that showcases our Culture, Values, and Employee Experience. 
  • The creation and management of our Outreach and Engagement strategy across both physical and digital events. 
  • The management of TA Marketing campaigns across all relevant social channels, job boards, etc. 
  • Pitching to and delivering on campaigns for all Stakeholder groups across the business. 
  • Providing insights and analysis to TA Marketing performance along with market insights and trends. 
  • Being a prominent practitioner of inclusion and representation across all of our TA Marketing activity. 
  • Coaching and mentoring of our Marketing Apprentice. 

WHAT DOES IT TAKE? (Minimum criteria)  

  • Extensive experience working in Employer Brand, Recruitment Marketing, and/or Communications  
  • Experienced driving and measuring results through the creation of campaigns that attract candidates and drive internal engagement  
  • Experienced developing creative assets such as videos, infographics, social media posts, etc. and managing virtual/in-person events  
  • Understanding of how voice and tone are essential to communications and brand perception to both employees and candidates  
  • An effective multi-tasker who is adaptable and reactive to industry trends and changes  
  • Experienced managing external agencies, partners, vendors and/or contractors
