    Emile is a Series Producer and Grierson nominated Director with over 15 years experience of making documentaries and prime time factual programmes for both UK and US networks. He is currently Series Producing the latest series of BBC2's award winning observational documentary ‘Hospital', filmed during Covid’s second wave. Previously he has series produced ‘My Brave Face’ for Discovery, charting the journeys of 6 people undergoing life-changing facial surgery - including the first African American face transplant and ‘Homestead Rescue’ following families facing life or death scenarios in the American wilderness. As a self-shooting director he is responsible for more than 30 hours of critically acclaimed factual programmes including ‘Phil Spencer: History of Britain in 100 Homes’, ‘Rich House, Poor House’ and ‘Gibraltar: Britain in the Sun’. Emile has also developed several courses with Screenskills to deliver storytelling training to the next generation of producers and directors.
